Looks like those late inning comebacks against the Royals won't be a guaranteed anymore.

Dotel dealing.

could be a weapon for the Royals until his elbow falls off

Yeah, it's not very pretty.

We don't have the excuse of having a B lineup, either. Only Thome is missing.

About 75 pct of those late inning comebacks by the Sox over the last two years were due to Sisco. Did him and Dmitri Young get World Series rings in 2005?

You do realize that we are second in the majors is runs scored during the spring correct?

He's got a point about all the Gonzalezes. Potentially, you could have the following call:

"Gonzalez sets up low for Gonzalez. Gonzalez delivers. Gonzalez swings and hits a one-hopper to Gonzalez who throws on to first for the out."

I wish that had actually happened.

Carasco shut down most of our starters on Saturday for like 1 hit over 5, and now this. Hopefully this isnt that crap in 05 when no one could hit for the first 2 months of the season.

WooHoo check the last 5 years at where we are as a team with scoring runs over a season. Even in 04 when we pounded a pitcher for 10 runs and then got 3 hit for the next week. It all looks good at the end.

And 4th in OBP and 4th in AVG and 3rd in SLG

Those will absolutely FLY out of Knights Stadium, BA!!

Our current CFer shoulda watched what our desired CFer did in his AB.

does that swing put BA on the team?

Its funny you were posting before when someone was ripping into our pitchers ERAs that you cant judge anything based on stats for a pitcher because its Arizona, yet you are here using stats on how great our O is. If Arizona and its dry air and elevation affect our pitchers wouldnt it affect theirs as well.

Who leads the White Sox hitters in strikeouts this spring?

I have to say, listening to Singleton today and several occasions on the radio, he's really improved his broadcasting skills.

Bad bunt, but Luis is alot faster then I thought he was.

They don't have anything to do with how our team will perform once the season starts, as I've stated before both with pitchers and hitters. Just like Iguchi won't hit under .200 and Crede won't hit over .400. But you were trying to make it sound like we were sucking on offense, when that obviously isn't the case.

Gonzalez (22) and Erstad (47) with 7. Gonzalez has quite a few less ABs.

Uribe (34), Fields (25), Mack (33) and Terrerro (24) all have 6 with ABs in the 20s to 30s

Actual question or do you have the answer? I am interested....

Coming in to today, according to MLB.com, it's Erstad with 7 (tied with A. Gonzalez, who won't be makign the team anyway)

Erstad is also leading the team in AB's this spring with 47 coming into today. Konerko is 2nd with 37. And Erstad has walked 2 times in 49 plate appearances, for a sweet .320 OBP.

According to the box score, Erstad k'd 3 times today, so make that 10 K's in 51 AB's for the coffee grinder.

Is that including Erstad's k today?

And that's how you know Valido a rookie.

Yeah, but Ersty has nailed down the CF job with .680 OPS this spring. Clearly better than Anderson's .800 spring OPS. That cocky youngster better go down to Charlotte and learn some humilty, and maybe how to punt.
