Well it wasn't a great catch but it was inches from being a slam and I was excited.

 

Pods would not have made that catch last year. It's a new year. And a new Pods. Except for the caught stealings, strikeouts and bad approach at the plate. I'm optimistic.

It was a good decision. The problem is he should be able to bunt. He is not a middle of the order guy. End of story. Move on to something else. We don't agree.

Thome picks up last year from being a horrendous 9th inning hitter.

Terrible at-bat by Thome. Not just because he struck out but because he looked terrible doing it swinging at crap pitches.

Up and in. That's the one to be worried about.
