If they execute the bunt properly in that position it works...however, our team has been notorious to totally F up bunts in big situations like that, where the bunt is actually NECESSARY.

 

 

You dont see too many times in the AL where someone leads off the inning with a double, and then the next guy squares around. I am sure that back in the 1930's they might of done that, but not now.
