According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Toby Hall (shoulder) "is healing so well that he might return next month."

Hall, who was initially expected to miss at least half the season, is scheduled to throw Monday for the first time. ''Hopefully he takes baby steps and stays on that,'' manager Ozzie Guillen said. ''I don't want him to take big strides and the fallback.''

That's great news. We sure could have used him vs Santana and CC.

its obvious how much we need him by the fact that A.J. has played in 6 straight games.....thats very rare for a catcher

I'm sure Molina will get the day game on Wednesday. But it's clear they want to play him as little as possible. It will be a godsend to get Toby back at the end of this month or sometime in May because I don't think we could go a full year with Molina as the backup. I just don't see him as ready for the bigs just yet.
