Another quality start for our starters. Our offense will get going too.

It was great to see JD come out of the slump.

Buehrle was solid. Kong woke up at the right time.

2 of 3, should have been a sweep.

Now THIS is the way our starting rotation needs to be. Despite instances of s*** happening, I was impressed with the entire body of work the last 5 starts.

 

Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. Last night was a tough loss to swallow, as it would have been nice to sweep these assholes in that dump of a stadium.

 

That being said, assuming the weather cooperates, lets go to the "Jake" and rock their asses off!

1st time in 7 years we won a series.

Oh, I missed the game? DAMN! But they won, so that makes me happy. And imagine, we could've easily swept this series. Regardless, looks like agood win.

Great pitching ALL series, minus the 9th inning last night.

Jenks gets a save and it helps his psyche; not so much his arm. Hopefully the Sox put up 15 tomorrow (and don't give up 18).

 

And Buehrle manned the f*** up, 17 of his last 18 and like 20 of 22. That's mowing them down.

I'm pleasantly surprised Buehrle calmed down after the first inning. I thought for sure Masset would have been in before the fourth.

 

While the offense couldn't muster anything off Joe Kennedy, I suppose its encouraging they could hit Justin Duscherer and Houston Street.

Who got the 2 runs in the late innings?

 

JD got a 2-run HR to tie it. Erstad hit a sac fly to score Uribe with bases loaded in the 9th. PK hit a shot off the wall to score 2 more.

Nearly 7 years makes it worth posting in this thread.

 

I'm happy with the pitching but Cleveland's offense to Oakland is about the biggest contrast you will get.

2/3 in Oakland is still pretty damn good. The pitching looks Habaalooshick. I love it.
