I LIKE Erstad. Speaking for myself, I'm just tired of Hawk's Erstad-related blather. And the fact that Williams made no other acquisitions to shore up the 3 spots in the order that flat-out blew last year.

...and he got a ton of overhyped praise like that one catch makes up for an entire season of his bat being s***ty.

And it only wasnt an error because he misplayed it so much. Uribes ball that he called off everyone, and then let it bounce near him wasnt an error also, nor was the Pods bounce off of his melon earlier.

So he's even on defense and hit a pathetic double play to get his OBP to .295. Congrats.

Which is still better than Konerko, Dye, and Crede. They also never hit into DPs, especially Konerko.

 

I'm not saying that he's doing really well. Just saying how about we beat on another dead horse.

You're right. Aside from a couple of weeks against the Angels and Royals, his bat has been worse than s***ty making the net offensive worth s***ty.

Nice swings so far this inning. Please avoid the triple play PK.
