I played the demo and didn't think it was worth the $60. I'd rather just play MW2.

So realistic for a video game.

Sometimes video game trades just confuse me.

 

I played Uncharted 2 a bit and I must say, as far as graphics and story go, this game is absolutely stunning. The gameplay is awesome as well, but my only complaint is how difficult it can be to navigate and/or figure out what the hell to do sometimes. I've found myself walking around for minutes on end not having the slightest clue of how or what to do.

 

I'm really liking my PS3 so far. I loved my 360, but the Blu Ray/free online capabilities/WiFi makes it a fantastic piece of equipment. I own 3 games: Uncharted 2, NHL 10, and Gran Turismo 5 and it's pretty badass. Takes a while to get used to the controller having played 360 for so long, but getting there.

 

I'm a super Naughty Dog fan boy, but pick up Drake's Fortune. It's not as fun after playing Among Thieves, but it's still an incredibly fun game.

Hmm, see I havent picked up MW2 yet and I used to love the first couple games in the SOCOM series. I guess the whole idea of a 256 player maps really intrigues me. And, I returned a bunch of games and have about $50 in store credit right now and with the next game I have to have being over a month away (The Show) i'm kinda tempted to just pick MAG up.

Yeah, I mean, if you don't have MW2 then checking out MAG might be worth it. My next two games will be Heavy Rain and The Show.

Got Mario Kart Wii a few days ago. LOVING it!

Just picked up Borderlands. Pretty fun first person shooter. Lots of guns.

If MAG were a 3rd person tactical shooter like its SOCOM predecessors I'd likely be all over it, unfortunately I have little use for yet another first person shooter regardless of how many people will be participating in the battles.

There were rumors a month or so ago that this'll get delayed again. Apparently Rockstar isn't putting as much money/energy into it as they did when the project was announced. I'm hoping it'll be awesome. GTA in a western setting? I'm in on that.

Dawn of War 2 Chaos Rising already here...

Mass Effect 2, as I expected, is awesome. Pretty much the same game as the first one and the same graphics (maybe slightly better) except they cleaned up a lot. They don't do the planetary exploration like in the first game which is fine b/c the devs got lazy with the level design on those anyway. The hacking games are more like puzzles now instead of just repeating buttons and so far I haven't run up into a bunch of recycled dungeons, which I guess is to be expected since the game is 2 discs now. The squad AI is better and they don't just run up into rooms and get shot anymore.

RTS for me was killed when MSoft shut down Ensemble Studios.

 

They actually helped an AoE3 mod I helped on so that it could be used on the internet in an ESO sort of way.
