Today my PS3 thought it was 04/29/2020.

 

It reset via internet to be right thank god.

The graphics and game are amazing. When they first showed Gordon Beckham I almost died at how much he looked exactly like Gordon.

 

I started with an exhibition game vs the cubs, and I won 2-1. Peavy pitched 6 innings of 1 run baseball making one mistake to Soriano. Thorntan is absolutely unhittable in this game it appears. Pierre had 2 bunt hits, Teahan had 3 singles, Rios we 2-4 with a double, and Beckham had the GW RBI. A couple other guys had singles as well.

 

The game is awesome.

I'm doing a roster revamp. I put those guys in the lineup to see if the batting stances I changed matched their real life stances. I think they do for the most part, but I'll let you be the critic.

 

The game doesn't actually have them playing every day, lol.

 

And no, there were no fireworks from what I've seen.

I'm going to play exhibition for the first week until some full minors rosters are available. No sense in starting a season a- when I suck and b-just wanting to restart after those rosters are out.

LOL, 7.0 for MLB 2k10. How predictable; I am so glad I don't have to try to talk myself into buying that garbage anymore.

I'm buying it and would be interested in the league.

We might want a dedicated thread for this MLB 10 The Show league. Also, my friend, Brian ( B-Rich23 ) wants to be in it and will have the game this week.

Oh, and I know I've already said this, but if you haven't played Heavy Rain yet, you are missing possibly the most original, entertaining game in a loooong time.

Luckily for PS3 users, the show has pretty much every white sox players stance down perfectly. I haven't played with all the pitchers yet to comment on that.

 

The show honestly each year just makes me happier and happier I went PS3 over 360.

That is what I was hoping to hear. It looked like it had the possibility, if you can get past the controls and slow start. I had read good reviews about it on IGN, but I don't always agree with the critics.

I'm actually annoyed that they say it's a "slow start". It really isn't. The story is building while getting you used to the controls, so the true life or death moments you don't wind up f***ed and clueless.

 

I'm guessing I'm about 75% of the way through the game, and I can't wait to play more.

US Cellular field is also as close to perfect as its ever been, the only thing I noticed thats wrong with it is the out of town scoreboard is still the old one.

Damn, that really sucks, that was about the only thing wrong last year with the cell........it's a pretty big mess up IMO

I'm the same way. I end up playing about a quarter of the season before getting tired of it and starting up an RTTS guy. I'll play that for a while too before moving on to someting else. I'm hoping an online league will keep me motivated to play.

I'd assumed we'd shorten the length of the season in an online league. No one will want to play all 162, let alone having to schedule with other players for a decent amount.

Got the game at Target at 9am by my house. It was the last copy left and they were only open for 5 minutes. I lucked out.
