Well they are not programmed to aim for lane 4 of the Dan Ryan

 

Watch our swings, the backswing on some of them could blow over a small village. The twins are a line drive hitting team for the most part. We are a softball team. When you have low BA, no OBP, no hits, no doubles, a lot of strikeouts its called swinging for Lane 4 of the Ryan.

The only worry for me on the Dye situation, is that this is truly f***ing us. If we trade him, we are getting s*** back. If we offer him arbit, if he takes it yikes. And if he goes to Texas like we think, yikes again. Our comp will suck.

 

This is getting to be an ugly situation no matter what.

 

 

 

Note to the Whitesox, admiring a team for their hard work, and their baseball savy is okay. Giving them a rallying cry, and a marketting campaign is a bit too much.

 

If we really want to be like the twins. We need to seriously change our development process. Teaching fundamentals. Teaching a fundamentally sound swing, that can project later for power would be nice. Teaching our guys how to catch and throw the baseball would be nice.
