Though I understand your point, I don't want that. Paulie is one of the few players that makes us proud, even in loss the dude is still a stud, a class act, a leader, and a winner....

We just need to put some friggin people in front of him.

I mean i dont really want to trade them, as those two and beurhle give you a very strong core to work with. Its a shame that almost everybody else took a step down from last year (offensively and bullpen) to really hurt this team.

They give us reason for hope though, and as you said all three are class acts which makes it all that much more fun to watch them

13th in scoring, 1st in rebounding, tremendous defender. Ya he's a top 10 player.

I don't want to get into a huge NBA debate here, but I'll say it's close. Definitely not top 5. Lebron, Carmelo, Duncan, Kobe, Dirk, Nash, Arenas, Wade, Yao...

And he was 17th in scoring. ;)

That was an amazing play by Dye....hope he's OK. It's weird about how to react towards him now, as I'm not sure if he want him to do good.

Better not or I'll start a debate on who should be the Blackhawks 2nd line center. :headbang

(indeed it should be and is Toews)

I know Dirk was the MVP, but when it comes to playoff time, he chokes. Arenas is good, yes. I wouldn't put Carmelo in the top 5 yet.

I hate those pictures of Noah you have, one of the ugliest athletes i know of (although far from jorge cantu), but i do wish he develops into a good playa for the bulls

I thought you want to resign him and get rid of Pods/Erstad in the offseason?

Come on Chuckles.

I wish the slaughter rule was in effect.

I hate Dirk, but he's a damn good player. And he doesn't always choke when it comes to playoffs. He got jobbed in the Finals against Wade (where Wade shot like 25 FT/game) and the beating the Warriors gave him in the playoffs shouldn't be taking into consideration too much because of Nelson and all he knew about the Mavs.

:Tries to stop talking about basketball:

I do, but if he stays hot the rest of the year, he'll get a big contract from someone. I'd rather he stay in the .230 range, hit 25 homers, and we get him at a good rate.

Yeah - hopefully we can lock him up in the next week or so. Assuming we don't what do you think the max he fetches in the offseason in yrs and dollars?

We did pretty much begin the resurgence of both the Yankees and Cubs.

Who knows which other teams we can provide a late season surge.

No clue, but he's going to want 3 or 4 years.

And probably around 28 million.

Wonder if he'd take 3 yrs $24 M- I'd make a move on that- but most likely he'll get more somewhere else...

How about the Brewers... <_>

Finally something we can both agree on.

Looks like Gavin is throwing his fastball around 89 mph now....shocking!

Overall > Qualified. Redd, Allen, Ming, Pierce all left off because of like 7 games they missed so they don't "qualify."

See?

Good call, wasn't even looking at that.

Regardless you listed 9 guys that was pretty much anyone that could be ahead of him and some that are questionable.

Like I said, definitely not top 5. :D
