Thoughts on the Big 12/ISU.

Augustin disappointed me when I watched him at Mizzou. Certainly didn't look like the best player in the conference.

Kansas looks as good as I've ever seen them. No worse than 14-2 in conference. I really hope we can get 'em in Hilton. Almost happened last year. Still the single biggest game of the year for us.

Baylor didn't look too awesome against Iowa State. I hope that means we're decent.

Craig Brackins looked like a FREAK. 33 pts, including 8 of 10 3's is pretty good for a 6-10 guy. Too bad he can't bang down low yet.

Tomorrow night's game is going to be interesting. Mizzou's 40 minutes of something or other against ISU's take the air out of ball. That may reveal a bit about each team.

Frank Martin looks like a douche.

Dont forget the ISU game is a trap game for Missery, they play KU on saturday.

We need to hold serve against them at home. I'm really targeting the NIT this year. That's most definitely a winnable game, as is Saturday's game against Okie State. Then we head to face you guys, when we'll likely go down by 40. I've got no delusions of us competing at the Phog, but I expect to somewhat challenge you guys in Ames.

Spartans are lucky we spotted them a 30 point lead in the first half.

Bad start to the road trip

@Purdue-L

@MSU-L

@Tenn-(L)

Wisonsin beat PSU @ PSU. Flowers was on fire, actually most of Wiscosnin was on fire.

Yeah, Mizzou is losing that game. I say that more so because they've sucked on the road so far than the fact that Kansas is the following game. I think this Iowa State trip is a bigger game for this team than the Kansas game.

Dead wrong, a KU win gets you an awesome boost to your resume. Iowa State should be a given win, sorry heads.

No offense taken. It's been years since we've been relevant.

UNC goes to Atlanta tonight to face a mediocre Georgia Tech squad. My Tarheels have struggled the past few years at G. Tech, hopefully they can avoid any such problems this year.

They are going to need some wins on the road because their resume is going to be bubble at best. They are already 0-3 on the road and if they can't beat Iowa State I don't see this team getting more than 2 wins on the road in the Big 12. I'd hate to bring a 2-9 road record to a bubble resume, that's going to knock you out immediately.

Important piece of information missing: Geary Claxton had an ACL injury 6 minutes in, and is out for the rest of the season. Penn State's season is over as well.

I think you can win at Colorado, Nebraska, thats it.

Go clones!!

At the time I posted the extent of Claxton's injury was not known. I was hoping that it wouldnt be as bad as it was, but when it happened it was pretty bad.

The worst part is that PSU was already down double digits, so they might as well of just not even played Claxton.

Good news for the other bubble big 10 teams.

LOL at Duke. Paulus swings at FSU player, falls on the ground and starts kicking at people, then fakes like he got hit in the face and an FSU player gets a technical. It just doesn't get any better.

This Florida-Ole Miss game is where it's at.

Don't get me started. I was as close as you can be to that play in the student section. I hate that guy so much.

Iowa State beats Mizzou 72-67. Solid win.

illinois gets its first big ten win. illinois would have quite a few more wins if pruitt and randle could play that well every night.

No offense, palehosefan, but I wanna see an upset. Go Georgia Tech.

illinois state moves to 6-0 in the MVC and wins their ninth game in a row with a 72-51 win over wichita state.

i love my jankovich.

you can thank Self for the glory that is Coach Jank.

I don't mind, I know most on here could care less if UNC wins.

Couple of great wins tonight for me, UNC sneaks by again and Texas Tech blows out A&M.

Paulus swung going for the ball. He didn't do anything wrong. The FSU thug (shocker there, a thug at FSU) swung at him while he was down and the play was over. Nice blinders.

So Paulus kicking on the ground wasn't doing anything wrong?

Paulus is such a little b****!

Alright fine, not going to defend Paulus because I hate him. Just saying the FSU guy did more wrong in my mind.
