Illinois fans chanting BCS...priceless...way to go illni nation.

It was outstanding, I don't care what anybody says and if it's classless. It's become so old and tired to beat them in basketball year after year after year after year, so hell, why not come up with something creative and different to make fun of them?

As for the national scene, I think it's pretty clear that the 3 best teams in America are North Carolina, Kansas, and Memphis (in no particular order). Everybody else has a way to go to catch up to those 3 teams right now, with the closest team being Pittsburgh since they were able to beat Duke on a neutral floor. Problem for them is losing their glue guy Mike Cook for the year is a huge blow, they have to hope freshman Gilbert Brown can step up.

This is funny. Two people from two fan different fan bases talking football s*** on a school that beat both of them in football. Whatever helps you sleep at night honeys. It would be so easy to talk basketball s***, yet you still want to talk football s*** when you lost. Hilarious. Continue talking football s***, I enjoy the laughs.

This is why it was so funny to begin with.

Hey, I hear the pads have ultra thin wings now, might wanna try that out. Anyways, if you take pride in your program barely beating an Illinois team without their quarterback, you go right ahead and enjoy that fine achievement as you lose the Cotton Bowl.

Poor mizzou fan....must suck to be the laughing stock time after time. Even when you win...you still lose in the end. Maybe if your bball stadium had more than 4,000 fans per game, people would earn some respect for your lackluster program.

Check this out guys....NCAA is now selling on-demand tourney games. For instance you can watch each college bball game from each year of the tourney. I linked the illinois 2005 DVD page for you fans.

I tried the mizzou page, but its not too updated sice 2001..haha

i'm not going to defend the chant, but the one time i went to the braggin rights game 2 years ago, we killed mizzou and that's all I heard on the way out from mizzou fans, "at least we have football"

I don't care about that, it's just Illinois fans are essentially saying the same thing and Missouri beat them. There's less than no logic to that.

Ouch... Did I see that correctly -- Bobby Frasor tore his ACL? It's seemingly been injury after injury for him at UNC.

Yep he tore his ACL. Tough break for him.

Off to hang out in Carbondale for lots of bball today. Go Dawgs!

Keep the knives away from Justin after tonight's game.

We're playing Russian Roulette if we lose tonight. ;)

Hope you're feeling lucky.

I really hope Bobby can win his appeal to the NCAA for another year.

Good thing he doesn't play for Iowa State.

What a bunch of f***ing tools in Indianapolis.

What is a Saluki??

A NIT team??

The Gophers have already matched last years win total of 9. The progress Tubby has made with this team is impressive, even if we probably aren't going to make any noise during Big 10 season.

I can't imagine what Justin's up to after that ending.

For those who missed it, Graves drained a 3 as time expired from a decent ways behind the 3 pt line.

I hope you die. f*** Kansas.

Wow. SIU gets Tyrone Green to the line for a 1 and 1 up by a point (he's a decent FT shooter, 73 percent) and nothing. Then Mullins gets there, and he's an 86 percenter, but he misses the front end to complete a 1 for 4 night at the line, then Graves with the miracle. SIU just blew that game, I know some people will look at the 30 to 12 advantage in attempts Butler had, but 3 for 12 at the line is unacceptable, you deserve to lose doing that. Actually, I can't even remember the last team I saw go 25 percent at the line for a game they shot 10+ free throws in. The one positive for SIU is Joshua Bone finally remembered he's a really good shooter tonight to make up for Matt Shaw going 0-7, 0-4, 0-2 for 0 points, but it might be too late for this season.

Unfortunately, I won. Disastrous.

IU plays its first game of the year with its full lineup tonight against Chicago State. Reserve forward/center Eli Holman is out with an injury, but he was only getting mop up minutes for the most part so I did not count him. Tonight will be the first time they have to find playing time for Gordon, Bassett, Crawford and Ratliff. Ellis will slide to the small forward spot where he was early in the year, so the two inside spots will have to be split between DJ, Mike White, DeAndre and Stemler. They'll have a legit 9-man rotation to use tonight.

I know I hate the Badgers, but wow, great end to that game against Texas. Amazing end, and Michael Flowers did a fantastic on the last two plays.
