March 30, 200818 yr Also, I'm glad BigEdWalsh mentioned Bang the Drum Slowly. That's a good one that a lot of people often forget about.
March 30, 200818 yr The White Sox are the bad guys in a lot of movies. Angels in the Outfield, Major League 2, and consequently because of the Black Sox scandel Field of Dreams and Eight Men Out.
March 30, 200818 yr Pretty hard for me to choose between Eight Men Out, The Sandlot and Field of Dreams. I love those 3.
March 30, 200818 yr QUOTE(The Beast @ Mar 30, 2008 -> 01:12 PM) 61*, The Sandlot, and A League of Their Own. 61* is great. for me its the Natural, 61* and Field of Dreams, with Field topping my list. I just love that movie.
March 31, 200818 yr just watched field of dreams today after reading this thread. boy do i love that move. and it really got me pumped for some baseball. "the one constant, through all the years, is baseball"
March 31, 200818 yr Major League 1 and 2 are the greatest baseball movies of all time, the White Sox being the bad guys in 2 bedamned.
March 31, 200818 yr Has anyone mentioned Mr. Baseball? Good movie. And I highly recommend the book over the movie in "The Natural"
March 31, 200818 yr QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Mar 31, 2008 -> 01:04 AM) Has anyone mentioned Mr. Baseball? Good movie. And I highly recommend the book over the movie in "The Natural" No way, Robert Redford isnt in the book so it cant be as good
March 31, 200818 yr What about Baseketball, come on guys let's think outside the box, haha. Edited March 31, 200818 yr by WilliamTell
March 31, 200818 yr I did like Mr. Baseball somewhat. A lot of Japanese men walked out of the theater during the Selleck/Asian woman bathing scene. I guess they found it offensive.
March 31, 200818 yr Author QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Mar 31, 2008 -> 02:04 AM) Has anyone mentioned Mr. Baseball? Good movie. And I highly recommend the book over the movie in "The Natural" It came on right after Bull Durham, I watched that too. So I was up until 4 that night. I never actually sat and watched that movie all the way thru before.
March 31, 200818 yr Little Big League is mine, I must have watched that movie 3 times a week when I was little.

March 31, 200818 yr "Are you crying? Are you crying?!There is no crying in baseball!".That has to be the all time most memorable line from a baseball movie.
March 31, 200818 yr QUOTE(BobDylan @ Mar 30, 2008 -> 07:09 PM) Summer Catch. the scene with Jessica Biel getting out of the pool alone should basically take that out of being green... Major League is my favorite, I've seen that movie so many times that it's entertaining to watch the edited version on TV to see how they cover the bad language
March 31, 200818 yr QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Mar 31, 2008 -> 01:30 AM) What about Baseketball, come on guys let's think outside the box, haha. i'm so glad you brought up that movie. perfect. haha
April 1, 200818 yr QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Mar 31, 2008 -> 01:30 AM) Has anyone mentioned Mr. Baseball? Good movie. And I highly recommend the book over the movie in "The Natural" Thats been on tv a lot lately which made me consider it.
April 1, 200818 yr QUOTE(SnB @ Mar 31, 2008 -> 09:25 AM) Little Big League is mine, I must have watched that movie 3 times a week when I was little. My friend offered me a Wade Boggs and Sammy Sosa card for you and I wouldnt take

I'm sorry, but I think the most memorable line from a baseball movie is "I have one thing to say to you....strike this mother f***er out". The similarities between Ricky Vaughn coming in and Jenks vs Bagwell in game 1 of the WS are amazing.
