We have the lowest Baseball IQ in the league, nobody will convince me otherwise either. This comes from the top with how this lineup was designed, down to the managers and to the hitters and their approach they take against certain pitchers. Just terrible IQ.

edit: LOL @ linebrink.

I dont know what happens more. Solo homers or Nick Swisher striking out looking. I'd probably lean towards the solo homer though just cause there are more people doing it.

Note to self...don't acquire players that started off in Oakland.

And to think I once made a very unfair comparison... Swisher=Burnitz.

this is revenge of the thanksgiving turkey.

Go Cardinals

i can't remember the last time this team hit a linedrive base hit or a double to the gaps

it might've been the yankees/sox game i went to a couple weeks ago, quentin hit a gapper off the LF fence, and crede doubled to LF to win the game

Gameday has all of Linebrink's pitches in the strike zone, is he getting squeezed?

Aww c'mon Billy Koch was good those couple times.

I love when people justify comparisons they made in the offseason on May 3rd.

Just sayin.Iam not a fan of Nick's game and never have been.

Thome against B.J. Ryan should be fun.

this is the only lineup that could get me interested at this point:

1. jerry owens - cf

2. pablo ozuna - 2nd

3. little conseco - lf

4. joe crede - 3rd

5. aj - c

6. jd - rf

7. nick swisher - 1b

8. oc - ss

9. brian anderson - dh

Terrible Thome...just a worthless player late in the game.

LOL I root for Brian Anderson as much as the next guy that doesn't hate him for 2006, but having him as the DH is a hilarious suggestion.

Now if we can crank 3 doubles in a row... that would be nice.

Nice play by Rios.

ah, the advantages of having a speedy RF that sometimes might be out of position.

Ha. Why's Hawk Dadgummin there. It's a flyout

That "Daggummit!" call by Harrelson is the absolute worst thing I have ever heard in my life.

AJ K's. Game.
