Lefty should be in for Kubel too, more bad managing.

Linebrink gets out of it, and our manager somehow gets away with not doing his job. PHEW!!

When the bullpen is good, the manager looks good.

When you have Crede and Toby doing a rundown, the lack of speed makes it hard to get a quick out.

Speed is irrelevant if you do a run down right, and we can't. It's so basic too, just a pet peeve of mine to see us bad in every run down.

a little PBP pleae

Mauer walked. Morneau fouled out. 2 wild pitches sent Mauer to 3rd. Cuddyer grounded to Crede, and they caught Mauer in a run-down the get him out, Cuddyer to 2nd. Kubel PH and popped out to SS.

Linebrink seemed up in the zone today, but hey, at this point I'm happy he got out if it unscathed

At least Linebrink got some work in.

That was nice but really really bad decision making by Guillen and poor execution by the Twins. Linebrink was scary there. Twins looking to get out of dodge.

When you have three lefties that can all hit (especially the first two) all face a righty reliever in the 8th inning, it's bad managing. I'm VERY happy we got away with it though.

People here make me sick. When Ozzie plays the match-ups and brings in Logan/Thornton, he's wrong and should have brought in his set-up man and is micro-managing. But when he brings in his set-up man, he's wrong for not bringing in the LOOGY and playing the match-ups.

Give me a f***ing break.

Dye with a base hit to left.

the best thing to happen to the Sox during the '05 run was the dominating SP in the ALCS. Took the Ozzie bullpen factor out of it

When is Dye following the uselessness that is Paul Konerko. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE move Konerko down to 6th in the line-up.

If he had brought in a lefty for Mauer and Morneau and been burned, i'd have blamed the players (whoever was pitching) for not performing. All you can do is use common sense and play matchups, which Ozzie didn't do in the 8th. It's not that hard to grasp.

Ozzie is using the traditional template attack. This is what he should of been doing for years. The 50 changes based on what paw the pitcher has to match up with what paw the hitter has jazzes everything up.

I am shcoked that he has adapted to this level of end of the bullpen management.

Swisher is not going good.

Why not friggin bunt Swish right there since he's struggling so bad?

Swisher is absolutely terrible right now. He needs to get his s*** together.

Swisher needs a vacation.

It has been a month since he's had an off day. I'd like to say I can't believe how much ozzie is overusing some of these guys, but I had a feeling this was going to happen with a few key guys, that he just wouldn't get them the days off that they should be getting.

I hear you, nobody ever criticized Torre when he brought Mariano in the 8th to face 5 out of 6 lefties. If it is so easy to manage , get an interview.

Neshek has injured his hand or elbow, and he's done. That could be a long term injury based on how that looked.

Neshak injury sounds serious.

Tommy John is calling Neshek.
