i think we will be in first tonight...

all hail Miguel Batista

I do not understand the posters who say that this team can make the playoffs, but cannot make a post season run.

This is baseball, any team can beat any other team on any given night.

Would you feel better if we had Jeff Weaver, Anthony Reyes and Jeff Suppan in our rotation? Because that team won a World Series less than 2 years ago.

We would be unstoppable with those three.....

I'm taking a firm stance in my position: The Sox will or will not win the AL Central.

This is the strong con-committal stance one can appreciate and I certainly applaud :cheers

What kind of prediction is that? :lolhitting

Twins up 1-0 in the first. They just throw Lamb into the 5th spot, and he delivers with 2 outs.

4-0 in the 3rd, twins

thank god they're on the road

Twins will probably sweep this series, and then they go to KC. They will not lose in KC.

My god all they do is crap tweener hits, im jealous

Twins are amazing. Always amazing til they get to the playoffs. They are so hot it is unbelievable.

Mariners with a huge rally, as they're down 6-5 with RISP.

Mariners up by 1 in the bottom of the 7th!! Time for Morrow and Putz to do their thing.

Wait, what? The Twins make a crucial error? 9-6 Mariners.

Looks like our White Sox could be sharing that 1st place lead come the morning! :gosox3:

Go Mariners!!!!! :headbang

This thread would be locked if the Twins lose right?

They only play fundamental baseball in Minny. No one told them they had to do it on the road. Amazing what open air and grass can do.

And not having air conditioning keeping the ball in the park?

We still need to win to keep it closed, and I sure hope it does.

Since it's been open the Twins will be 0-1. Keep it open until they start winning.
