Is the 6th too early to sub in BA for Griff?

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Aug 14, 2008 -> 02:24 AM)
Getz just won himself the starting 2B job for 09 in Ozzie's head.

I've said this since seeing him bat last night...he doesn't seem like the typical Sox player. BTW, kudos to a few members on here who touted him for a few years.

I'd get him out of there.

He better be pulled for Anderson after that AB.

Junior is still out there, sadly.

So was this Mark's last inning?

That was a little too close for comfort.

16 consecutive scoreless innings pitched for White Sox pitching.

robbed!

I thought that, but didn't want to say it.

Is there a pitcher in baseball with a better K/9 than Dotel?

The cruise-control from MB sure is nice to see. Mark and Javy gave the pen some much-needed rest these last two nights.

Thank you.

I guess I should have qualified it with an innings minimum.

Cruz is legit. He's pitched 35 innings.

Balfour... very legit.

And Dotel.

The others don't have enough innings to make it meaningful.

Register has faced one batter all year... but he struck him out.

Should quit while he's got a perfect record. :)
