It'd be nice to sweep em and have the same record as Minnie in recent games vs. Sea and Oak. I fully expect Minnie to beat Oakland and take 2 of 3.

I've never felt badly about our team vs. a knuckler - granted THIS team I haven't seen. I bet alexei gets some nice hits. Thome takes advantage of one and Griffey gets ANGRY and hits dingers if he plays.

Brian Anderson sees an angel massaging konerko's shoulders in the dugout. kenny williams pinch hits Konerko for quentin, and then the angel of shoeless joe comes down and stops the knuckle ball in mid air so paulie can take a huge hack at it. Konerko proceeds to hit a weak grounder to the third baseman, but shoeless joe (being invisible) grabs it and creates all sorts of confusion and strange misdirections so that paulie hits an inside the park homerun to win the game.

This is a HUGE game, even beyond the obvious. Get this one, and you send Minnesota onto that miserable 14 game road trip at least one game out of first, plus a sweep of Seattle is both important and now expected after we won the game we weren't supposed to last night.

I see the game is on WGN. I'll be there folks. I watched the first two of this series on the FOXNW which shows the Mariners and loved the wins, but it's always nice to see your own broadcasters. I think this knuckler is going to be bombed as long as we don't swing at all the wild stuff he can throw with that pitch. I think this feller has a hard time controlling his knuckler.

im not too worried about facing a knuckler. they probably will look pretty bad first time through the line-up, but if this guy's stuff isn't working, the sox should tee off on him second time around. let's get the sweep!
