Not totally useless. He's a good cheerleader. But Ozzie should give him some pompoms and a megaphone instead of a bat and a place in the lineup.

Did he take a break halfway to 1st base? I dont know how the hell someone such as Swisher, with SOME speed, doesn't beat that out. I'm guessing he left the box immediately thinking it'd be an out, noticed it was botched, then started hustling.

Any chance they are firing Hawk in the off season and not bringing it up until then?

Hopefully Clayton can pull something out here. Because the idea of Wasserman, MacDougal, Boone, or Ramirez as relievers in the playoffs is scary.
