Yep, good effort by Floyd tonight, but let's get him out of there.

Indians are playing some great baseball right now. If we're in a situation where we have to win 2 of 3 to make the playoffs, that might be difficult.

If the improbable happened and we choked this away, someone needs to lose their jobs. There is no reason what so ever that we lose this.

Do pitchers pitch differently with a lead than if it is tied?

I fail to see your point. What's that got to do with anything?

Floyd isn't helping anything giving up jacks, but at this point, even if he were pitching a perfect game 0 runs from the offense doesn't win games.

Pull Gavin. Save him for the Twins. This game is beyond reach.

Griffey actually showing some life moving at a moderate speed.

If we score in the first, we lead 1-0. Who knows if Gavin gives up 3 runs if he has a lead. Maybe he gives up more. Who knows.

K think it's time to remove Gavin now.

Nice try, Gavin. You could of given up only 1 run and probably wouldn't of mattered.

Maybe someone in the dugout tore him a new asshole after his walking around earlier in the game. It'd certainly be deserved.

Wow. Boone Logan. Final will be 9-0 Royals.

Guess we can take comfort in knowing that another game is off the schedule and we're still 3 up in the loss column. This team refuses to build any type of cushion going into the Twins series. So if they sweep us, and that's more than possible, we're, like, done.

Now its time to see what arsonist comes in and how they handle the situation. I figure the runner in scoring position is going to score. Just hopefully he doesnt invite 4 to 5 of his friends to run with him.

I think that in the first inning a pitcher is still trying to think about giving up as few runs as possible and the score is completely irrelevant, especially if we are talking about a 1 run difference. You'd be on to something if we were talking about the 6th or 7th inning probably.

Or tonight? Or half the games that the Sox lose? Face it, the Sox make an artform of losing when the odds are stacked in their favor.

It's a 4 run game, so it's Boone. If it was like a 1 run game, then we'd see HoRam.

could have .... wouldn't have

I hate Boone Logan.

Feels like everyone else lost interest in this game at the same time huh?

Way to hustle over there Boone.

Way to hustle, Boone.

Oh Boone, such a mental midget. Just no effort on the field tonight by far too many players.

Boone lolligagging

Maybe MacDougal can induce a DP... it could happen.
