thats gone in our park....damn...just got under it enough

Yep...probably 5 feet short here.

Thome takes one right there.

SWING THE f***ING BAT THOME!

pretty predictable ending with Thome.

Of course.

Terrible at bat...not surprised. Oh well, have to win tomorrow.

Par for the course for Thome.

Well at least we gave it a run.

Pathetic.

cant keep counting on twins' losses....gotta string some wins together at some point

Good stab at it.

Since when do Royals fans care this much?

What, 8 games left? That's not much time.

There are no hidden gems from this game. We made a crappy pitcher look like Johan. Then we decide at the end of the game its time to play. They should have this focus at the beginning of the game. This team has no killer instinct.

Dye and Thome both miss hanging breaking balls.

Hahaha

I thought the same.

It would have been appreciated the first seven innings.

I love the sox but jeezus christ. I guess we're just not that good and if we make it, it's a nice thing but nothing we should have expected.

We don't have the ability to grab the division by the balls. Unacceptable loss with so much on the line. Very very sad performance.

Had we won and gone up 4 in loss column I think everybody would agree the division finally was ours.

Yes our swinging for the fences finally allowed us to break through on a horrible pitcher. Our long fly almost went over the fence in a large pitchers park. Our last hitter almost hit the ball, but didnt. Almost at this point in the year means s***.

Yet still lost. Funny how that works.

And if you're getting at "oh, well it should provide momentum for tomorrow" we've seen lately how this team is with momentum. They can't put together a win streak.

Brandon Duckworth is a crappy crappy pitcher. Maybe our offense might decide that tomorrow is a nice day to earn a few bucks.

If we step back and look at this team objectively,we have to realize that injuries have just killed us,Jose Contreras,Joe Crede,Scott Linebrink and Carlos Quentin and Paul Konerko battling injuries all season long...to lose your ace, your set up guy the sox paid big bucks to bring, your gold glove calibre 3rd basemen and your best hitter and MVP candidate, well it was too much to overcome.I know injuries are part of the game and the other guys gotta step up but how many teams can overcome them to their top players?

LOL> You guys are nuts. I just said I'm glad we gave it a run.
