No one else I'd rather have batting second here than Konerko....

This works!

Paulie finally realizes we're facing Brandon f***ing Duckworth.

Wow, thought it was a fly out when he hit it.

I'm glad Ozzie stuck with PK through his 5 month slump....his bat will be pivotal in this team making an October run! :bringit

PK!!!!!!!! :headbang

What is with the ham in your signature? I've wondered that for a while.

Liriano has 110 pitches through seven. They're not gonna let him go another inning, are they? Hopefully Guardado or somebody can s*** the bed.

If you're going to say things, at least look them up before you do so. It might prevent some embarrassment.

Blackburn in September: 7.58 ERA, 26 H, 17 R in 19 IP

GENIUS

Thanks PK. Insurance is always good, especially today while the Twins are already winning.

UMMMM....do you even read, dude?

I said why would anyone assume that Blackburn, the way he has been pitching, would beat Buerhle?

Your what hurts? Has everyone around here been hypnotized by Sarah Palin-itis and lost IQ?

Paulie deserves a pie in the face if we win.

You actually said "Especially that Blackburn, the way he has been pitching, is going to beat Buehrle", which made me think you thought he actually was doing well lately. My mistake if that wasn't the case.

Right here! That man's antics have gotten me through some hard times.

I like Swish, but I don't like how he's done this year. I don't expect this to carry over to next year however.

Swisher is such a bust.

Haha, I've never seen someone so often go from 0-2 to 3-2, and still K after that.

If we could get in the playoffs it would be a new start for Swish .000 batting average entering the second season. He's not been real good thus far.

Danks at 72 pitches. I think he can get the game to Jenks in the 9th...although they might use Thornton against DeJesus.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it, but that was the first time I have seen Crede in the dugout in a long time.

Good, I didn't see that. Wonder if he was at home in Missouri and decided to make the journey to the park.

He won't be playing

I'm going to take one for the team. Sometimes we do better after I enter a game thread and leave. Adios.

-- The Kansas City Chiefs are finally worthy of the 'e' word. They are an embarrassment. My god they suck in getting drilled by Atlanta.

I wonder if Crede and Danks are going hunting tomorrow on the off-day at Buehrle's farm? Maybe that would help Mark to relax before the big series next week.
