it'll be blacked out in champaign, because it's in IL

 

i have mlb.tv and it blacks the sox games out that are on WCIU, unless i connect to the internet with my Verizon data plan via my cellphone + bluetooth adapter, i guess Verizon's ISP address is an out-of-state IP, so mlb.tv doesn't see me as being in IL while using it

 

i think they might have caught on though, i had some problems watching the sox/yankees series last week

wish i could find that topic which someone posted a few months ago on how to access the games for free...maybe if you started searching the old threads from this season, you'll see it. I never tried it but supposedly others did and it works.

Motherf***er, this game is on WCIU. Now I can't watch this game at all.
