I actually like the approach they are using, so far. Throw strikes. Hopefully it won't result in anythign other than the one he gave up already.

For the 100th time, Ozzie is playing Wise in LF because he doesn't feel like Swisher has the speed to help Griffey when he's out in CF. Ozzie said before the series that you will always see Wise in LF if Griffey is playing.

We needed to score to win this game anyway.

 

Newsflash - Evan Longoria is good. Javy is bad in clutch situations. We probably weren't going to win with Javy on the mound anyway.

 

All upside from here - the Sox can only RECLAIM this game.

Ozzie needs to play the players that put us in the best position to win. I couldn't care less if Ozzie is mad at Swisher, he is a manifestly superior player to Wise.

The offense sucked with him for long periods of time. He was our only offense. Its time for the boys to man up now.

 

 

 

Haha. Settle down guys. You know what our deficiencies are. We did a great job to make the postseason. Try to enjoy this s*** instead of getting all pissed off in the second inning. It's amazing we even made the f***ing playoffs with our injuries. Enjoy the show.

Agreed, and let's stop making Wise the fall guy. The entire offense needs to pick it up...they've been really mediocre against starting pitching for a long time now.

We have to score more than 3 to win.. If I'm wrong, I'll eat my crow. Javy doesn't look awful.. hopefully the 1 is all we'll see.
