Im watching the damn game...and the curve to Swisher was a strike. If you have some extenstential view of it that gives you a better view than I then Id love to see it, but the pitch to Swisher was STRIKE 3...

It's even with the plate when it's in the glove, it's at least 6 inches outside while crossing it, I just went frame by frame.

I'm glad we have a catcher who can throw out 3% of runners.

and only actually throws the ball 13% of the time.

Blame that part of it on the pitchers being horses*** at holding runners on.

There are a ton of similarities, such as the Red Sox having to start a terrible Clement against us in game 1.

Can I play?

Our 2nd baseman makes a silly error.

Japanese 2B hits the game winning homerun.

Did Ozzie just tell Dotel that CB is an asshole?

At least the idea of Brian Anderson being the savior of anything is over.

Realistically, we have a healthy Joe Crede, I think he comes through with one of those clutch hits in Uribe's spot.

Their pitching has just been better than our hitting, especially with RISP.

Sorry, I saw nothing wrong with any calls...in fact the 1-0 pitch that WAS called a ball was VERY CLOSE....it could have been called a strike. Swisher has to swing the damn bat in that situation.

I'm sorry, but you must be blind.

Again, with two strikes you have to protect the plate.

Strike one and strike two don't get you called out.

I agree there -- bad move by Swish to watch a close pitch. Still...

My question is this: why doesn't our coaching staff stress this more?

must be nice to score with 2 outs.

f*** this

Good thing this offense broke our f***ing hearts.

I wonder what our record is when CB Buckner is umping home plate.

Rub it in why don't you...

Wait a second, a man on base and they didnt swing for the fences. That was a line drive. And to right center. Thats anti-chicago right there.

How much more can we take of this?????????

Unf***ingbelievable!

5-2.

Making the playoffs this year was awesome. Next year we'll have a healthy TCQ, so who knows.

God this sucks. f***ing hate our hitters. f***ing hate Dotel. f***ing hate Tampa Bay and their b**** fans who have to rely on cowbells.

Ummm...Ramirez is one of the main reasons we're here.

Our offense is the reason we lost this game, period.

Buerhle was probably going to give up a run that inning, anway. We had Kazmir on the ropes in the first three innings and we let him escape.

Dotel fails.

Shocking.

Kenny is going to have to find a defensive minded catcher in the off-season who can come in late in games for A.J., a Henry Blanco type.

need to sweep them in Chicago, which I think is very possible. then hope for the best in Tampa

Ugh...Ozzie's decision to leave Buehrle in for this inning was just pathetic.

Did they just show Ozzie laughing and joking with something or someone in the crowd?

LMAO. Yea, sure. The pitch was in the center of the plate when it hit the glove...Mr. Howell doesn't have that kinda break, but keep on believing it's a fixed game. This teams hitters screwed the poooch...blame blue all night long, but it doesn't change the fact we got taken again.
