It's surprising to read those comments. You watch these games not to see a victory but to see how the guys are progressing individually. At least thats what i do.

Down 7-0 after 1 there is no progressing today!

this team is going to be the worst fielding sox team that i can recall i think...

just my personal opinion, but i think alexei is going to be a disaster at SS...he doesnt look fluid at all

maybe he should be moved to cf...... too obvious/logical???

Watching Owens hit, there is NO question why he has no power. What a freakin' feeble looking swing.

Lillibridge looks like Mark McGuire up there in comparison.

Short armed uppercut, its terrible.

The Sox REALLY need someone to back up SS/2B not named Lillibridge. Hopefully Nix can come back quickly enough to serve in that role without L'bridge doing too much damage in early April. As bad as Betemit looked at SS early in spring training, L'bridge's offensive futility makes me wonder if I'd risk the bad D for Betemit's gazillion times better offense.

Betemit will definitely play when someone needs a rest in the IF

Lillibridge will only start in odd emergencies

How is it that Lilli is considered a defensive asset when he has 5 errors so far this spring??? Thats a big number for so few games.

Second question-- how is it that this guy was once considered a top prospect, as far as I can tell he doesn't really have any baseball skills other than speed.
