So Beckham is going to step in save the team with his offensive prowess got ya.

The bunt there did not manufacture a run it manufactured three.

This is an incredibly silly statement and I refuse to take you seriously.

wow, i never would've imagined he'd be first pitch swinging. that never happens.

Well, if nothing else, this team continues to amaze me in the ways it can turn a good inning to an absolutely s*** one.

SOS :lolhitting

Cy Anderson with 87 pitches through 6.

That's bulls*** and you know it.

Things are going from bad to badder to the badest quickly here

are u sure we need more pitching??? this offense sucks!

after 60 games we'll be sub .500 and there will be people who think we have a shot

with the way our division has been so far this year, they'll probably be right

It lead to a three run homer after the walk.

They put pressure on the pitcher especially in a 1-0 game as oppossed to stepping up and swinging at the first pitch (i.e. AJ) and popping out or grounding into a DP.

This team has scored 4 runs in 27 innings against these pitchers and have yet to have a rally.

Anyone have AJ's numbers when he swings first pitch?

It is uncanny today. Let's hope the guys can make it respectable at the end, or something...

Starting? I've been punching the wall for years now watching this.

Just take 2 ABs away from his season total for the answer.

Dye showing off that glove.

DYE! Hell of a play!

woops.

when it rains it pours.

Seriously.

The Athletics finally did it. A team finally had the balls (and need) to put 4 rookies up against us. We can't hit someone we haven't dissected with at least one game under our belt.

BRILLIANT!

Even Dye dropping balls-thats the bottom

Did you guys see the three pitchers the Indians are throwing this weekend? Looks like some pure ownage to me.

Well I was specifically referencing AJ. I know he's always done it but he was "getting away with it" because our offense was scoring runs.

The sad thing is when people b**** in late August when the Tigers are destroying Oakland and the Sox are getting pounded by the Red Sox.

As was I.
