June 7, 200916 yr Sadly Pods is the only thing close to a lead off hitter that the Sox have. There is no second choice at this point in time. Should this team continue to fall, there is no reason to not bring up Danks and see what he could do as it could be no worse than Wise. I think it would be hard ot be any worse than Wise.
