Depends. Foreign policy or domestic front? Actually either way they think he's phony because he's still the US president

They both cheered the health care bill.

Oh I didn't know that but like I said, depends, they were probably talking about the big gap in coverage being filled weren't they (since that's what a socialist would care about usually)? I have a socialist ex-conservative friend of mine who was complaining about this bill not doing enough etc. and there was a statement by the Socialist Party USA basically railing against it. http://socialistparty-usa.org/campaigns/healthcare.html

Socialists (and a good chunk of the American left) pretty much want to get rid of insurance companies entirely.

edit: I just looked and Castro was basically talking s*** about how it took so long and Cuba did it decades ago. lol, typical, but he kind of has a point in that most other countries resolved this argument 50-100 years ago

I know what our left thinks of this bill, it's just the timing of your statement was just perfect as the WSJ has an article about Castro's reaction to it.

I had an acquaintance on facebook(lets call him Brandon) who rants and raves about Obama and Healthcare and says words like commie and socialist, and I am pretty sure he says them because all of his friends say the same thing and they dont quite understand how they apply. He has thinly veiled racist comments about Obama, and the worst part is my best friend is black, and all three of us were in a wedding together for Brandons cousin. So not only do me and Shaun see him saying things like "I make money for my family, not for everyone else" but I also have to see him say things like "This guy I saw mowing the lawn the other day looked kind of obama-ish, I wanted to kick him in the nuts". Me and my best friend had to remove him from our friendlist because it go to be so bad.

Sometimes its a pretty sad world.

some guy i work with brought in a radio from home so he could listen to Glen Beck on his head phones at work. he never says anything crazy though, but is an overall douche.

I know quite a few Socialists and Obama ain't no Socialist.

Some loon was walking around at a stoplight wearing something that said "Impeach Obama" with a picture of Obama with a Hitler mustache drawn on. As he walked by my car, I shook my head at him and he held his arms out as if asking "What?"

I rolled my window down a crack and asked, "You are actually comparing Obama to a dictator who is soley responsible for the genocide of millions of Jews?"

He said, "Yes, and....."

As soon as he said Yes, I rolled my window back up and turned my radio up really loud while shaking my head at him til the light turned green.

People like that are sad, IMO. I don't understand, nor really want to understand their thought process. People like this are at their happiest when the world is burning, and miserable while it's not.

Some of them. I think some of them THINK they'd be happy if the world was burning, but if they ever got into that kind of pandemonium, would wimper and cry in a corner.

Disagree. These days, they'd go down into their basement and spend their time posting crazy rants about how right they are on the internets, on some message board or something somewhere.

Wait a minute...

Have you ever seen their double-bullhorned late 70's Chevy Blazer?

LaRouche is a cultist. Him and his followers are all nuts. I wouldn't be suprised one day if they all headed down to Guyana.

But they would probably avoid an actual political or editorial site and instead find a random site regarding something else and cram some political discussion in.

OHHHHH SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURE "LAROUCHERS" are CRAZY ASS LAROUCHERS NOW!!! I

Texas newborn denied health care coverage based on pre-existing condition.

This law can't be in action fast enough.

New federal legislation that will prevent insurance companies from denying children coverage based on a pre-existing condition comes too late for the Tracys. The legislation, passed by Congress and signed by President Barack Obama this week, won't go into effect until September.

But Houston, who is hospitalized at Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, needs coverage now.

Without surgery, babies with this condition often die soon after birth, although some may live as long as a year, said Dr. Steve Muyskens, a pediatric cardiologist.

Texas is another country though, right?

We could only hope. I wish Lincoln had let them all go when he had the chance.

Wasn't this the part of the bill that Obama thought was immediate and was touting as such. It was part of the story on Pelosi and how many folks voted without really knowing exactly what was in the bill.

If we hadn't waited on the Senate Finance committee...it'd probably be in effect by now.

Too bad we can't unleash the same forces on Moveon.org that we supposedly did against Acorn...

Police in Thousand Oaks, CA are looking for a man who bit off another man’s finger at a demonstration against Obama’s healthcare reform on Wednesday night.

Ventura County Sheriff's Capt. Frank O'Hanlon said a crowd of about 100 supporters of Obamacare were on one side of the street, with only a few who oppose it on the opposite side. The pro-reform crowd were members of MoveOn.org, and according to witness reports, they became rowdy and shouted threats at the peaceful crowd across the street.

According to Capt. O’Hanlon, one member of the unruly mob ran across the street and punched a 65-year-old man in the face, a fight ensued, during which time he bit off the man’s pinky finger.

The man reportedly picked up his finger and walked to Los Robles Hospital, where doctors were able to reattach his it. The man was released and sent home.

A few weeks ago, Kenneth Gladney was giving out “Don’t Tread On Me” flags was attacked by a pro-Obamacare union member. The incident which occurred outside a St. Louis town hall meeting, was caught on tape as the purple shirt clad SEIU member beat Gladney to the ground in an unprovoked attack.

Reporter’s note: Perhaps, this is what Obama meant when he told his supporters on national television to “get in their face” and explain his plans to his detractors.

I'm sure garbage like this goes on with both sides...people like this bring a bad name to whatever cause they're supposedly trying to support.
