That was a quick 1-2-3.

One, two, three for Zambrano.

Get them Gavin!

Ugly start

Just got in from luch. Wind is blowing out. The pitcher that keeps the ball down and gets K's will win. Get the ball up and its going to be a long day.

If the ump doesn’t call anything on the outside corner this is not going to be a very pleasant night for Gavin

There ya go Gavin. 8 more like that!

The cubs have a fear of walking they'll start chasing out there.

That really favors the Cubs, as Floyd throws a lot more high fastballs than Zambrano does.

Was he giving that to Zambrano? It looked like it on Gamecast?

Were all of the balls hit hard and deep as Gamecast said as well?

I am about a mile south of the park and the wind is blowing at what would be straight out to left at about 10MPH.

Anybody try streaming the game on the iphone yet? I hate freaking blackouts.

We can't afford to let Zambrano get into a rhythm. When he gets it going, the next thing you know is it's the 7th inning and you have no hits.

He seems pumped up.

There you go Brian.

Let's go Getzy hit a triple again.

BA!

Base knock Brian Anderson.

BA.

Getz is hitting the ball exactly where he should. Walk can fix 'em?

Double for Getzy, bring them home Becks!

Farmer is making it seem like Zambrano is a mad man out there.

Well, at least we're not going to get no hit (and I'm serious, that's a worst case scenario in a game like today with this jackass on the mound).

Nice job BA and Getzy!

Now, fry 'em up, Bacon!

(Last Bacon reference for me)

Anderson is a much better hitter with nobody on, it is amazing.

Let's go Gordo! Another RBI chance for him...

A few days ago I was saying that I was ready to get rid of Getz. I stand corrected.
