Poreda or someone currently not in the organization.

Who thought that there would be someone worse in the 5th starter spot than Bartolo? Didn't see this coming at all. Maybe we give Sweaty Freddy a shot.

Well Heads must have already voted in this poll - Egbert has a vote.

Colon if he's actually ready and can complete 2 successful rehab starts.

Otherwise, it's Poreda's turn to see if he can give a couple good outings, and Richard takes a bullpen break for a couple weeks.

Halladay

Well, an ace we pick up in a trade would be the optimal option. But from what we have, Poreda, Colon, Torres in that order.

Felix Diaz.

i miss lance broadway/green

my guess is that they give fatolo one more shot and/or acquire a middle to end of the rotation veteran starter.

I'd like for it to be Poreda. But I see Colon getting the chance.

Poreda only threw 46 pitches today before they pulled him. Possible that he's just not stretched out at all.

If not Poreda, there is no reason for him to be on the big club. Richard would do a fine job as a reliever. Let Poreda get his feet wet, if Richard can get worked out, all the better.

Poreda of course, but really I will be satisfied with ANYBODY except Clayton Richard right now.

Scott Schoenweiss still around?

Is his supplier?

I figure they bring Colon up, and then send Poreda back to AAA making it pointless to have him up. The only thing we have done, is start his clock.

Which would be kind of dumb IMO. If Poreda's here let's see what he's got. Colon, well, we know what that is. I'd like to think Poreda could do better than that.

Tough crowd today...the guy's wife just died tragically, didn't she?

I voted Poreda as well. This scenario is what needs to happen unless Freddy is ready.

How's he doing?

0-2 with an 8.18 ERA in Charlotte.

OMG. No thanks on Freddy.

Poreda or we go out and trade for a pitcher...maybe not for Doc but for a good number 3 or 4 guy...although the doc would be preferred....

Freddy has yet to make an appearance.

Egbert is hurt, Colon's in his spot.

I voted for Colon.
