That ball was clearly foul. It's really easy to tell, just try to see if you can view the ball passing the foul pole. If you do, then it's foul.

it doesn't pass in front of the pole, it went over it, so no you can't use that method to tell. i think it was fair.

Hawk said he has the weekend off. Probably in his contract. In the alternative, if it is more interesting, there is a warrant for his arrest in Alameda County for a hooker he strangled when forced to work with Harry Caray.
