Somebody else other than Thornton has to be able to get somebody out, but we have NOBODY to do that right now. I sure as hell hope we ahve cash left to get a bullpen arm.

I'm not as upset by the HR as I am by the back-to-back walks.....you just can't give a team 2 free runners with a three run lead......thats a recipe for disaster.

It's alarming to me that Jacobs can only hit one pitch, and Ozzie leaves in the guy who plays perfectly to that strength. It speaks volumes that Ozzie could screw up this obvious of a move.

We should give Linebrink an extension.

This sums up Ozzie Guillen's managing ability.

 

Regardless, Linebrink not being able to finish the job with 2 outs and nobody on is just as much on him as it is Ozzie.

Guillen was fine for the first two, maybe three hitters but after walking Teahan, go with the lefty....

Not that I agree with the logic....but I'm guessing Linebrink was left in the game with hopes of saving the bullpen. With Garcia and Contreras going the next two nights, you have to figure the pen is going to get some work.

Yep, and I thought he was doing a very good job this season up until that Cubs debacle with Linebrink. Since then, it just seems like he's really made some weird decisions and the team has been far too flat when they should be going for sweeps.
