The board only allows 10 choices, so I had to pick between having 10-0 and 0-10 as choices. I refuse to even think of 0-10 as an option, whereas thinking a pipe dream of 10-0 is fun. On that note, I'm going to pick 6-4. Split in Boston, win each of the 2 other series.

I voted 7-3. I got my mojo workin'!

7-3 here also, I still believe there is no way Detroit is going to win this division. We got this.

5-5

9-1... only 1 loss to Boston. Everyone else gets swept, we take lead in division.

2-2 in Boston

1-2 in NY

2-1 in Minny (yes i said it)

1-0 @ Wrigley

= 6-4

Detroit's next 10 games:

3 @ Angels

4 vs Tampa

3 vs Cleveland. (playing decent ball)

It will be important for the Sox to remian close during this road trip because after these next 10 games, Detroit closes the season playing 20 out of 29 games vs teams under .500. While the Sox play 16 out of 27 games vs teams over .500.

I have a feeling the results of the poll will change if we lose today's game to the s*** O's which we could do on a Sunday day game.

1-3 in Boston.

0-3 in NY

1-2 in Minnie for 2-8.

The Cub game could go either way.

My real hope is SOMEHOW

2-2 in Boston (odds of that just aren't good with Boston's home record and recent destroying of Detroit; why should we do better than a good Tiger team in beantown?)

2-1 in NY (beating a team 2 of 3 after they want to kick our ass for what we did to them in the Cell is not likely; plus the Yankees are damn good, especially at home.

2-1 in Minnie (Minnie's getting it back together finally in kicking KC's ass; we don't win in the dome).

That would be a miraculous 6-4 and would likely keep us breathing depending on the Tigers' 10 games. Only way we can do 6-4 is with extraordinary pitching and average defense. We're not capable of great defense, but are capable of average.

I picked 6-4. I feel like we're definitely going to win the Boston series, maybe sweep. They've been playing pretty poorly lately, pitching has been off. I expect the Yanks to continue their tear, and the Twinks seem pretty confused. Optimistically, 7-3 if we get the sweep in Boston.

Baconator, if we sweep in Boston you get the call of the year award. It just doesn't seem remotely possible.

I love the Sox, but the 09 version has been terribly inconsistent, leaning more bad than good. That said, I think we'll catch a win on Monday with the carmines coming off an emotional series, then go on a bad run. I think this will effectively do them in for this season, but one can dream.

1-9

prolly 3-7 but hope its closer to .500

I like how today's game has progressed, the 'doom and gloom' has become more evident. We're coming back to win this in the 9th and we're going 6-4 in the next 10!

Well, s***.

The Sox aren't better then the 3 times we are playing, and we can't beat a bad O's team. This road trip will be the nail in the coffin for this season.

10-0 and we return home with the lead in the division!

The way things have gone this season, the Sox will play well (at least above .500) now that everyone is declaring them dead. I'm predicting 6-4.

5-5.

They've been a .500 team all year, so why not?

4-6.

Not bad, but certainly not good. I forgot if that sentence was meant to describe the upcoming road trip or the 2009 White Sox as a whole.

I hate to say it, but 4-6 looks probable to me...

2-2 in Boston

1-2 in NY

1-2 in Minny (with the way they play there, 0-3 wouldn't be surprising)

I hope I'm wrong.

2-8....the pitching match-ups are terrible in Boston and we don't have the offense to match-up in Yankee Stadium

That's exactly what I was thinking. We get put to bed for the year on this roadtrip. The only thing we will debate is whether or not to shut Peavy down for the year.

5-5 probably.. but I'm leaning towards 6-4. We usually play well versus the good teams so I'm optimistic on that but I can't see us beating the Twins in the series though I think we can take 1 game.

2-2 in Boston

1-2 in New York

0-3 in Minnesota

1-0 at Wrigley
