Featured Replies

I have to admit I had given up hope and Im still not quite on the bandwagon, but it is pretty cool that we now control our own destiny in a sense....

Its 5 dude

5. I think it would be fun if we could somehow get it to 3 back when Det comes into town.

6 in the loss column I think. And this late in the year that's what counts.

We could very well be within 1 or 2 by the time Detroit comes to town with the way the two teams have been playing lately.

Imagine if our players that are hitting .100 the last couple of months start helping Pods and Becks!

...and you know what? I still don't miss Thome.

It is hilarious that we are still 1 game under .500, yet we are still in it.

Rios just needs to start hitting.

Walker needs to step up and work with Rios on his leg and foot work at the plate.

This.

I've been telling people here and on other boards that we are going to win this. And with a healthy Peavy, the playoffs will be damn interesting.

They get Greinke Thursday. We miss him next weekend. Looks like we'll get Hochevar, Davies, and Chen.

This is going to be hilarious if it ends in a 3-way tie at 83-79, and we have to play at the Metrodome. That would be classic.

Im happy we get no Felix in Seattle. Looks like we get Morrow, Snell, and Rowland-Smith. No Fister to dominate us again either.

The assumption there being that no one has tried to tell him to fix his technique already...

You'd figure that a slumping player would seek out his coach for advice, or at least be more willing to listen.

Sometimes these things do take time, right?

Like Nick Swisher? We don't know how Rios handles slumps yet. We have no idea who has approached him or what has been said to him.

Whatever the case, if Rios/Beckham/Quentin can start hitting or atleast 2 of the 3 and Peavy is truly ready, this division race might have just gotten a little more interesting.

Is that a veiled shot at Rios? :lolhitting
