April 16, 201015 yr QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 16, 2010 -> 06:04 PM) You don't think Jack Z made a very silly move taking on the Bradley contract, undoing a lot of the good he'd done in 2009? At least he has a philosophy, defense/pitching first, but he obviously needs Lee for that to work...and the offense has been putrid to date. No, because he got rid of Silva's.
April 17, 201015 yr im sure halladay is enjoying the n.l. after all those years in the a.l. east. of course he was good, but cant be fun pitching in that division. after todays game, hes going to be 3-0 with an era under 1 Edited April 17, 201015 yr by Melissa1334
April 18, 201015 yr Got screwed out of the Sox game on FOX, but the game they put on instead has been fun to watch. 0-0 going to the 15th. Over 5 hours long, bet the Fox brass love that. Twice have relievers had to come to bat with the bases loaded.
April 18, 201015 yr QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 17, 2010 -> 08:06 PM) Got screwed out of the Sox game on FOX, but the game they put on instead has been fun to watch. 0-0 going to the 15th. Would like to watch it on MLB.tv but of course, blackout restrictions. God, I miss Rooney.
April 18, 201015 yr This Mets game is agonizing, but i can't stop watching. How can you be four hit in 15 innings?
April 18, 201015 yr QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Apr 17, 2010 -> 08:12 PM) This Mets game is agonizing, but i can't stop watching. How can you be four hit in 15 innings? Are they ready to run Jason Bay out of NY yet?
April 18, 201015 yr QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 17, 2010 -> 09:21 PM) Are they ready to run Jason Bay out of NY yet? They still like him out here. They mostly hate Manuel, John Maine and Oliver Perez.
April 18, 201015 yr QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Apr 17, 2010 -> 09:12 PM) This Mets game is agonizing, but i can't stop watching. How can you be four hit in 15 innings? Cards have left 18 on base.
April 18, 201015 yr QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 17, 2010 -> 09:31 PM) Ubaldo Jimenez is taking a no-hitter to the 9th. all he needs is one more out
April 18, 201015 yr ESPN further proves their inferiority to MLB Network by not breaking in and showing the 9th inning on either ESPN or ESPN2.
April 18, 201015 yr QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 17, 2010 -> 09:48 PM) ESPN further proves their inferiority to MLB Network by not breaking in and showing the 9th inning on either ESPN or ESPN2. I was waiting for them or FOX to show the last out. I was so pissed.
April 18, 201015 yr QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 17, 2010 -> 08:45 PM) No hitter and 6 walks? That is AJ Burnett like. Wasn't that bad, Burnett walked 9 and hit a batter. Both Verlander and Sanchez walked 4, Doc Gooden walked 6 and only struck out 5 in his no hitter back in '96. In 1965 Jim Maloney no-hit the cubs while walking 10 and hitting a batter.
April 18, 201015 yr QUOTE (Kalapse @ Apr 17, 2010 -> 08:56 PM) Wasn't that bad, Burnett walked 9 and hit a batter. Both Verlander and Sanchez walked 4, Doc Gooden walked 6 and only struck out 5 in his no hitter back in '96. In 1965 Jim Maloney no-hit the cubs while walking 10 and hitting a batter. I knew Burnett was more than 6. How many pitches did he throw that game? Lots of people think that was the game that caused him to have surgery. He probably would of needed it no matter what.
