good move and dodgers picking it up.. now we got our leadoff

Overall, he's as good as Pods.

At least he's better on the bases.

Love it!

How much are we paying him if we are paying half of his contract? What does his contract look like?

Just wait until the stats guys hear this. The board will flame with how bad of a leadoff hitter he is and how bad of a move this is.

Personally, I think it's an ok move. Not great but should help.

I am fine with this esp. if he is playing LF and not CF.

Pierre had 2 years/ $18.5 left on his contract

no freaking way

terrible move, I hope we gave up absolute scraps for this

Juan Pierre is bad people! :(

And the report is the Dodgers are picking up half

If the Dodgers are paying half his salary, I imagine we gave up something of decent value.

He's a slight improvement over Pods for more money.

They had virtually the same SB% last year and the same for their career.

4.75 per year for 2 years then?

The base running intelligence alone makes this better then pods.

Plus he wears high socks to replace carrasco

@white sox get juan pierre. will have to pay him $8 mil over 2 years. fills leadoff spot nicely. good job by tim brown.

Yeah, paying 4.125 per year over hte next two for a .300 hitter who can steal 40 bags. AWFUL.

I wouldnt say decent value, since Pierre had no position with the Dodgers. Possibly mid-level pitchers were involved

If Hudson was part of this I'll be mad.

he doesnt get picked off 3rd base though. ;)

I think Pierre is better in the field than Pods.

This hopefully signals Pierre LF, Rios CF, Quentin RF.

Hopefully not Quentin LF, Pierre CF, Rios RF.

I'm guessing maybe someone like torres and omogrosso? I would think that at least one of the guys if not both are on the 40 man roster
