I think this means Apple won.

Sources close to Adobe that have been briefed on the company’s future development plans have revealed this forthcoming announcement to ZDNet:

Our future work with Flash on mobile devices will be focused on enabling Flash developers to package native apps with Adobe AIR for all the major app stores. We will no longer adapt Flash Player for mobile devices to new browser, OS version or device configurations. Some of our source code licensees may opt to continue working on and releasing their own implementations. We will continue to support the current Android and PlayBook configurations with critical bug fixes and security updates.

Additionally, the e-mail briefing to Adobe’s partners has been summed up as follows:

Adobe is Stopping development on Flash Player for browsers on mobile.

Adobe is now focusing their development efforts on:

Applications for mobile

Expressive content on the desktop (in and out of browser)

Increasing their investments in HTML5 in general

Has anyone tried that Gazelle site to sell their old iphones at all? My iphone 4 on ATT is pretty much in flawless condition and they claim to pay 200 for it

Target will give you 200 for your flawless 32gb iphone 4. I know this for a fact.

Anyone have a good grind n brew coffee maker? I live across the street from starbucks and even though its convenient, I would like to start making some of my own coffee.

I See Your Siri and Raise You a Yap: Amazon Quietly Snaps Up Speech-Recognition Startup

Amazon quietly purchased a Charlotte voice-to-text startup called Yap, an SEC filing shows.

Though the acquisition was apparently completed in September, no public announcement has been made by either company. The filing does not mention Amazon by name, but Yap merged with a company called "Dion Acquisition Sub" that just so happens to be headquartered at 410 Terry Avenue in Seattle, Washington, an Amazon.com building.

You might be surprised. We use and abuse our Keurig, more than most people should. I wouldn't do coffee/tea any other way now.

There's also "fill your own" reusable k-cups, but if he's looking for something he can dump beans and water in and get out coffee that's obviously not going to work.

The Kuerig machines to have dominated the market and everyone seems to be making k-cups for them now, even places like Gloria Jeans and Dunkin Donuts.

Not a fan of k-cup coffee...it doesn't taste brewed properly to me.

I've used a Kuerig for about 5 years and recently went back to a traditional brewer. The amount of coffee in the K-cups is not enough to give proper flavor. I love the conveniece of the k-cups but if you compare the taste side by side, it isn't equal.

Need some PC help.

Wife's laptop will no longer launch Firefox. I tried several times. It doesn't even show up in the task manager. Uninstalled it and tried re-downloading and it won't install after the download completes. It doesn't even appear in the download folder.

Tried downloading Chrome and it won't even start downloading. Get a "Application cannot be started. Contact the application vendor" message.

Anyone have suggestions on what could be causing this?

When that s*** happened to me I would always try to restart from a point when I knew things were working correctly, or if that didn't work, I would uninstall and reinstall Windows.

Sounds like a virus/trojan or something vital to the computers tcp communication has been corrupted.

I'd not bother and just do a complete reinstall.

So I've had Verizon for a week and I haven't has less than full bars yet.

Im in love with my Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch (whew what a mouthful). I had the 4S with sprint for a while and returned it within the allotted time because i really didn't see the huge difference between that and my iPhone 4 (siri was cool for 3 days). The amount of customization is absolutely incredible for the Galaxy S II. Ive downloaded a kernel that vastly improves the performance of the phone, even overclocks the processor to 1.6 Ghz. The performance is super zippy and the huge, intensely colored screen pretty much guarantee ill never be able to see a tiny iPhone screen the same way ever again. Thanks Sqwert for helping me see the Android light! :headbang

That's my recommendation. Last known good configuration, baby.

How large of a mug are you trying to fill? I replaced my french press with the K-cups and love it. I especially love the variety. No way with a french press or traditional brewer I would have so many different coffees available. Currently I am choosing from Dunkin' Donuts, Folgers, Timothy's Donut House, Tree Hugger organic, Jet Fuel, Van Houte Colombian, Emeril's Big and Bold, and a Caribou Morning Blend. Some are much more mild than others, I enjoy the differences.

I had one friend tell me the Keurig was too "thin". He was watching it brew and it looked too clear to him. But any liquid pushing in a small enough stream will look clear, even used motor oil. We put his regular coffee in a medicine squeeze thingy and it looked just as thin.

I just pushed the larger mug button. I think that's 8 oz. There is no doubt that the K-cups are the best thing going for pods, but if I have time to make coffee, I rather the drip.
