I wouldn't be surprised if Rosenthal had some inside info the other day... said something that had been told to him in confidence... got called on it... and is now laying low. I have nothing to back that up, but I could easily picture it. His sources are generally very good. And you just don't see him reverse track like he did the other day and then clam up.

I remember driving through downtown Detroit in rush hour (5:30-ish) in the middle of the summer about 10 years ago and NOBODY was out on the street. It was weird.

I can't imagine reading some of these super treads with only 10 to 25 posts per page constantly clicking the next page.
