3-0!!!!

That got ridiculous on the laterals.

Yeah, did the officials just call the play dead because it was clearly not going to count?

The Packers gave the Bears this game.

They should have called it dead on the first forward pass. What the hell was that guy thinking?

You cant blow it dead because its reviewable. The second forward lateral must have been really obvious.

The Packers obviously weren't thinking much in that game.

Who would have thought the Bears would be the last undefeated team in the NFC after 3 games?

The Packers gave the Bears this game.

And I will gladly accept it

What a dirty win.. but we'll take it!

Most penalties in a game since 1987.. crazy. Cutler had like 3 picks called back thanks to their play.

/makes title belt motion towards Rodgers

For real^_^ I kept looking at the scoreboard and was like why aren't they blowing the Bears out the way they were marching up and down the field.

GG Hester + Penalties.

Cutler looked pretty awful this game. Everytime he threw I thought it was gonna be another interception.

3-0 They just find a way to win. LOLZ.

Jay had a mediocre game. The pressure and hits seemed to get to him and he made some bad decisions tonight. I am happy we won, but he needs to player better the rest of the season. The offensive line can do him a favor and block every once in awhile.

No doubt. The Bears actually could of scored a couple more times with him being average tonight. I don't ever want to see Dez Clark in the red zone again unless it's for blocking. He is showing his age out there (I still remember his drop from last year in almost the same spot). Just not a good player to rely on in red zone situations. It's bad enough they still have Forte out there in red zone situations when they tried to pound the ball and Chester Taylor was one of the best short yardage runners in the league (red zone included) last year.

Green Bay just played horribly stupid. Lack of discipline on their team with obvious calls out there.

the packers are a really great offense so it's expected they get yards. The defense played really well at containing them to 7-8 yard plays. But some of the penalties...I don't know. I have no qualms about penalties that resulted from julius peppers completely f***ing the heads of their olineman. But yeah, they were just absurd in the #, but it's not like any of them were not penalties. As for our offense, there were struggles but we also got about 25 less plays it seemed. I'm really pleased that we just beat two 3-4 defenses. Man this felt great. A MNF win against the packers? Jesus that's been rare in my lifetime.

We should have taken a knee on those last few plays. We shouldn't have taken the chance of a fumble or a bobbled snap. The result was the same.

I trust Gould inside 30 yards. Just my opinion.

Mike McCarthy: The BEARS are who we THOUGHT THEY WERE! And that's why we took the damn field! Now if you wanna crown em, then crown their ass! But they are who we THOUGHT THEY WERE! And we LET EM OFF THE HOOK!

Funny thing is.. they showed a few replays with Peppers and even Gruden and Jaws were saying you could call holding penalties on alot of plays from GB's O-Line (you could see them as a fan as well). Peppers is just a beast though. He had no sacks, but had a terrific game all around I thought.

Blocked FG. Good against the run. Drew atleast 3? holding penalties? I think he had a pretty good game.

one of the plays on third down that turned into a big game, rogers scrambled to his right after evading bears lineman...largely helped by a ridiculously apparent block in the back on Peppers.

This game was a prime example of why we signed Peppers. He caused at least 5 penalties on Packers lineman (false starts/holding) and the blocked FG was obviously a huge reason the Bears won... And the run defense as a whole is awesome.

I wish Lovie Smith would stop making dumb challenge calls.

I also wish Lovie Smith would use his best personnel on the field (Taylor on 3rd downs and in the red zone).

I also with Lovie Smith would stop trying to go for every 4th down and just take the points sometimes.

With that said, I'm VERY happy to see the Bears at 3-0. And boy do I love Julius Peppers.

QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Sep 27, 2010 -> 10:28 PM)
If they ruled Packers Ball. . . Lovie wouldn't have had a challenge. f***ing idiot

.

The three guys in the booth were HORRIBLE last night.

Yeah...it's hard to complain that the refs were somehow unfair when virtually all of the penalties were real. The closest thing to a phantom penalty the whole game that I saw was a holding call on Kreutz. Half those penalties you could see without the replay.
