I've never had a film put me in the mind of someone like that.

Agreed. Totally puts you in his shoes. You think to yourself "Would I be able to do that if needed?" and the entire time I was asking myself when was the last time I talked to my loved ones.

I thought it was going to be like "Open Water" (read: incredibly boring), but you guys are convincing me to check it out.

It's a must watch. Franco will probably be nominated so everyone shoudl see why.

If he ending is scarying some people away.

The arm amputation is not gory. You barely see anything. Just quick cuts. Don't let that scare you away.

I think it is a movie that will also look great on Blu Ray.

I dunno why the ending is in spoiler tags, it was a national news story?

Anyway, it'll probably be a Netflix rental for me, but I'll definitely check it out.

Collapse THUMBS UP, just lots of interesting things to think about

I watched the latest Indiana Jones movie last night. I never got around to it because it got some bad reviews, but I enjoyed it.

However, aliens? Really?

Well, you make a good point there.

Saw "How Do You Know" tonight on a free advance screening. It was a little long, but I thought it was decent. Lots of chick flick, but it had it's funny moments (unfortunately, most of them you have already seen in the previews).

Going to try and watch as many movies as I can in the next month while I'm off school. Among the movies on my list:

Spy Game

One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest

Dirty Harry

The Curios Case of Benjamin Button

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid

You Don't Know Jack

Once Upon A Time In The West

Hotel Rwanda

20,000 Leagues Under The Sea

Spartacus

Dog Day Afternoon

Jonah Hex

Fargo

Unforgiven

Blazing Saddles

Requiem for a Dream

Invictus

The Town

Kick Ass

The Book of Eli

I thought that movie was a disaster - horrible writing, just bad overall.

I'd add Book of Eli, which I thought was a lot better than the popular reviews made it out to be.

Book of Eli was just flat out boring, also the twist or whatever was pretty obvious early on in the movie as well.

I guess I just disagree, I thought it was very well done. Its not meant to be an action movie, even though that's how the marketed it.

Haven't seen that, so I omitted it.

I thoroughly enjoyed Book of Eli too. Kept me entertained the whole time and at the end of the day that is all I can ask for from a movie.

The ending ruined the movie for me. Awful, just awful. But up until that point it was solid.

I probably won't see it. All the Bible stuff turns me off.

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid was a phenomenal.

I just got back from Tron, I guess it was ok.. but then again I never saw the original

I'm headed to "The Fighter" tonight, and cannot f***ing wait. It's going to be awesome.

Go f***ing see "The Fighter". That movie was so fantastic.
