Rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic, that's all we are doing.

yeah, that's what we're doing

-_-

Nix is actually a patient hitter and can hit breaking pitches. He won't hit for a high average, but his OBP will be respectable (~330) and bring some pop and probably better defense. I'm not saying Nix is a long term solution, but Alexei is about the slowest starter coming out of the gate on our roster

one last chance to win this!

I know Nix was terrible at SS last year, but if we have to sit Alexei i'd prefer him to get some run over Vizquel. He's got a lot more offensive potential, and an extended run at SS might make him more versatile.

You honestly think Ozzie would ever play Nix over Vizquel?

This team got any ninth inning heroics in them?

their closer is pretty good, so doubtful, especially with Pierre coming up

We have Teahen, Pierre and Beckham coming up. Let's win this one.

Let's go guys!

Santos is far and away the biggest positive, and Andruw Jones would be #2

rios and Q are up there for me too...

Lets win it in the 9th. . we are losing waaay too many close games.

They will be 2-5 with 27 RS and 27 RA. So yeah....lots of close losses. Need to change that.

Nope, that's why i was stating preference rather then guessing what was going to happen.

Wow... I didn't know Brent Lillibridge was the Jays closer.

Definitely not. Unless Nix stops hitting homers and becomes "grindy"

Nice inning for JJ. Now lets go take it in the ninth!

If you can't say anything negative don't say anything at all.

It like they are just going through the motions.

Teahen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TEAHEN! Nice opposite field power.

I would agree with everything you said about Nix except for the part about playing better defense at SS.

With Teahen and Nix on the left-side, you might be creating another problem because we'll be in so many close games this year, every error or defensive miscue will be magnified. That said, if Ramirez continues to struggle the next 3-5 games, Ozzie's hand might be forced, especially if we only win a game or two and continue to get buried behind the Twins.

WELCOME TO THE PARTY PART TWOOOOOOOOOOOO

MARK f***ING TEAHEN.

f*** YOU TORONTO.

elnfwlsflnwq

That should shut a few people on here up.

wowowowow! TEAHAN

lol@ Teahen and Jones being our offense tonight.
