He doesn't make much sense on this team as constructed, I agree. And as long as the Sox aren't completely out of it, they will make a deadline deal for a bat, who will take Nix's spot on the roster.

Yeah actually IIRC we pretty much played well against the Rays last year. And we have not been shut out yet as lame as the offense has been some days.
