Nice come from behind win. We are 9-13. Still not good. Better than 8-14.

Solid game.

We got three in the seventh, one in eighth and two in ninth.

Why can't we score like that on a moderately consistent basis?

Actually, in the past week, scoring late has become the rule. Last night scored all 5 runs late, the SEA series was three straight late wins.

Good win, nice to see seven runs. Bobby still looks awful though, save situation or not.

Who cares. The fact is they scored. It doesn't matter if it happens all in one inning, or if it happens over the course of the game. At the end of the game as long as we have more runs than the opposition we are good.

Nice to come out of a meeting and see some nice offense.

The 3 in the 7th were a complete gift. They scored in the 8th/9th by HR, which is how the majority of our runs are scored.

So were their first 2.

He had 3 strikeouts and made 4 outs. Could AJ have blocked the wild pitch? If he does then Bobby doesn't give up a run.

No. That's why it was a wild pitch.

The old Javy Vazquez argument. He gave up a bunch of runs, but look at those strikeouts.

That doesnt mean he couldnt have stopped it.....

That's pretty odd for the Sox.

Its time to give Paulie his due. Rios is getting applauding for hitting .270, Andruw Jones is given props for his season, Paulie has 10 homers. If he only had 5, the Sox would be in huge trouble.

I'll give PK some some props. Right now he is slamming the ball and coming up huge for us.

All praise to the almighty score keeper? Unless the ball was 15ft high or wide, it could have had a body in front of it.

So what do we do about Jenks? It sounded like he was struggling today.

I suppose you keep going with him for a little while and see if he can put it together. If he blows a save or two, there are plenty of alternatives.
