June 18, 201015 yr Nix DFA'd. I assume he'll be placed on waivers, if he clears waivers he'll have the choice to either go to the minors or seek employment elsewhere via free agency.

I sent my brother this text earlier during the game: Viciedo at third again for Charlotte after playing mostly first all year with top 3B prospect Morel at SS, Lillibridge's position. This means Viciedo will likely be called up to play 3rd, Lilli/Nix will go down to play SS, Morel back to third, Teahen's injury is worse then thought, and Paulie won't be traded soon. Also, as long as Cowley's twitter is up, he just proved he reads SoxTalk.

June 18, 201015 yr Dayan's been decent at AAA. .855 OPS down there. The lack of walks is concerning, but he should be at least a league average hitter I would think.
