Jesus, Matt had the look of a crazy man on his face when handing out high fives.

He literally threw nothing but fastballs.

I'm a little concerned about him. His arm slot looks different now than it did before he had that little elbow problem.

he also had no strikeouts, he's definitely not the same pitcher as he was prior to having fluid drained from his elbow

He's still throwing heat up there. But yeah, it seems like the location just isn't as good.

LoL. The game thread that North Side Baseball reached 1.5 pages.

well, if it makes you feel better, Santo was in the booth for like 1 inning during the Sox game. it was total bulls***. at least you didn't have to deal with that

Actually I did when I was watching the game on ustream.

I haven't heard much of Santo. What's he like to listen to? Do Cub fans adore him?

I feel sorry for him for losing his limbs because of diabetes.

Is he all cocky during games? He was a heck of a player, but I guess voters thought his offensive numbers weren't good enough for HOF playing in Wrigley.

He's basically as bad as it gets in terms of Color Commentators, he adds absolutely nothing to the broadcast except unintentional humor. You mostly get moans and groans out of him during broadcasts rather than actual analysis. My Cubs fan friends can't wait until he's gone so that they can actually listen to a quality radio broadcast.
