Quick Pitch on Sunday nights might be my favorite show of the week. I love the series recaps, and I especially love it when the Sox have a good weekend.

I just got out of a meeting at work. About 40 mins ago, everyone in the conference room started floating, like the hotel scene in Inception. What the hell is going on?

Following the game is so much more fun these days. Not that it wasn't before. But I think back to 2005 when Jon Garland was going Cy Young on the AL. I couldn't figure it out. It's like what is he doing differently? He had cut his walks down. But that was about it? All I needed was about 5 minutes at fangraphs to figure out why that was BY FAR AND AWAY his best year.

I would normally say save some for tonight (and deep down, I still kind of feel that way), but it'd be nice to make them burn through a few more bullpen arms.
