Too early to say that. After the 2008 season, I'm not willing to concede defeat until the last day of the season.

not conceding, but the annual Aug-Sept ritual of the piranha nibbling is getting so tired......

I know we're going to march Freddy out there again but I wish we had a long guy in the pen that we can put out there to at least attempt to stay in this game. Perhaps Sale can go 3+?

I doubt they let him to that?

none of us could imagine a scenario where roles reversed we head into MIN to b-slap them in their building, or if we did jump out early, they come back in the last three innings like they seem to almost every home game they play to make it real close....

CQ showing us some POWER!

so this is basically the BAL series against a team that can score

Lillibridge may be coming back down to earth.

Please Freddy, pleaseeeeee throw up one f***ing goose egg this inning

You sure? I thought he would hit .400+ all season.....

GET HIM THE "F" OUT...NOW!

Sorry for the caps.

I thought Cuddyer's was going to be gone with the way they're hitting tonight.

Ozzie rolling the dice...with the way things are going tonight I'm sure it will bite us in the ass.

Come on Freddy.

Is Pena up in the bullpen yet?

If I had one AB against a ML pitcher to get a hit, with my life on the line, obviously having a .0001% chance against anyone...I would choose Freddy easily.

There he is, Pena warming up.

We play pretty boneheaded sometimes.

cue the clown car to come get fred

Thanks for those awesome 7 outs, Garcia!

Go home Freddy, it's T-Pain time.

No one at the bag covering 2nd? This is the stuff we do against the Twins. Seems like we're such head cases against them.

Exagerrated shift and Thome still shoots it thru.

C'mon Oz, be a manager instead of an observer tonight.

We're as boneheaded as our manager.

This is why I wish we had a true long guy and just started him this inning. Now they have a good possibility of scoring at least 1 and maybe 2 here and put down any momentum we may have gotten from CQ's homer

So are those people who said Thome sucked because he constantly hit into the shift thinking about it differently now?
