My first ever game thread. Been savin' up the mojo, boys.

The Sox absolutely have to sweep this series, especially if the Twins keep winning.

 

It starts tonight, Gavin!

We're 4.5 back, with 3 against the O's (who are bad but not as bad since Showalter took over), while the Twins are playing the Rangers. This series is one of those where we need to pick up a game or two on the leaders.

 

Win.

 

 

Twins are 2-3 in their last 5 games, and have been shut out twice, and have 3 more in Texas, and have lost their 2 primary bullpen lefties (Mijares and Mahay) and a starter (Slowey)...this is a good opportunity to pick up one or two of the games we need to make the September Sox-Twins series determine the winner of this division...

 

Texas is reminding me of the 2005 White Sox.

 

Gavin, go out and have yourself a complete game shut out and give the bull pen even more rest.
