What happened between Savage and Vince

 

Sometime around 4am EST which would be 1 am where "Rowdy" Roddy Piper lives in Oregon, he posted the following on his Twitter account

 

"Randy slapped Vince in a bar...End of that story!!"

 

Piper was sharing Macho Man stories on his twitter throughout the evening.

 

This of course is relevant because of the long debated mystery of why the Macho Man has never been seen on WWE television since he left for WCW after guys such as Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart and others have done business with Vince McMahon since their individual problems with him.

 

Another note to this, it is a tale that has been confirmed by different people over the years, when Kevin Wacholz who played Nailz physically attacked Vince McMahon in his office and of course never worked or was heard from in any way by the WWE since. So, if Piper's story is in fact what broke any and all relationship with McMahon, it would not be surprising as getting physical with the boss is just a line that can't be crossed or forgotten. Bret Hart obviously got physical with Vince after the Survivor Series in match but I am sure most including Vince would admit that is a much different circumstance.

Maybe the difference between Hitman and Macho man is that Vince knows he legitimately screwed Hart over, and with Macho Man maybe Savage was the instigator.

 

We all know that Vince puts money above relationships, there had to be something pretty significant for him to ice out Macho Man like he did while he gave Hart a coming home and farewell party, as well as let Hart put the sharpshooter on him.

Well and the Hart screw over was massively public and Vince looked terrible from it.. If Macho Man assaulted Vince in a bar, thats not even close to the same situation.. and I could definitely see Vince holding onto that

I believe that was actually the event where they had the one night tournament for the WWE Championship and DiBiase tried to hire Andre the Giant to win the belt for him but then DiBiase was forced to face Macho Man in the final.. Im pretty sure it was at a early Mania..
